Mock Meet

At the mock meet we will conduct a full meet, as if another team is there. However, we will be swimming against ourselves. The mock meet is important for the volunteers to learn their duties, the kids to learn the process of how a meet is run, and generally to get us all warmed up for the season. |

Join your teammates for ice cream with all sorts of delicious toppings at the Haddon Hall Clubhouse. Pick up your team shirt and mesh bag (new members only). Big Fish/Little Fish pairings will be revealed as well. |

FIRST DAY OF PRACTICE

Practices are held Monday-Thursday and it is best (but not required) if you can make all of them as the coaches cover different strokes and techniques on different days. We are only allowed to use 2-3 lanes of the pool so swimmers in the same practice slot need to be fairly equivalent in ability so they are not running over each other. Practice squads are as follows until June 15. On that date, times will change due to adding morning practices on Mondays & Thursdays. Dolphins (6 yrs & under): 4:45pm - 5:15pm Otters (7/8 yrs): 5:15pm - 6pm Marlins (9/10 yrs): 6pm - 6:45pm Barracudas (11/12 yrs): 6:45pm - 7:30pm Sharks (13 yrs & up): 7:30pm - 8:15pm |

All families are welcome to attend. New or "newer" team members and parents please arrive by 6:30 if you want to find out (or get a reminder) about how swim team runs, what you and your kids will be doing, meet the coaches and more! If you have kids who are nervous about swimming with the team, this is a great time to bring them and ease those fears. Following Orientation, at about 7:00, we will have refreshments and time for parents to meet our head coach and assistant coach. |

We swim AWAY against the Haddon Hall Hammerheads. This will be our first in-division meet of the season. The Hammerheads are ranked 4th, division 4, and 16th overall in the TSA Southern League. Scotts Mill is ranked 1st, Division 4 and 13th overall in the TSA Southern League. Go Seadragons!
Meet theme is Princess/Disney Characters! Directions: Take US 64 to Apex. Exit at NC 55, and head South. About 1/4 mile, turn left into Haddon Hall. At the 2nd stop sign, turn right onto Blackburn. At first right, turn right onto Haywards Heath Lane. Pool is visible on left. Swimmers and volunteers MUST CHECK IN at the check in table upon arrival. Swimmers that do not check in may be removed from the heat sheets. Welcome packet from Haddon Hall with further information regarding parking, concessions, etc. |
